I used Ulmon in Madrid and Barcelona. Its really really helpful. It doesnt use Internet connection that could be expensive but shows your location pretty accurate and allows to search for addresses and places of interest. The application doesnt show you the route but when you see your location on the map and the point you want to reach its very easy to navigate and you dont have to carry the map. Application is very useful. I used it on iPhone and iPad without problems.
